1. Overview
VEXO Hub is an offline-first personal organization application. Its core workspace is designed to store your notes, categories, attachments, reminders and related records in the application’s private local storage on your device.
This website is a static informational site. It does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or marketing cookies.
2. Information we handle
Local workspace information
Information you create in VEXO Hub may include item titles, notes, categories, tags, reminder dates, attachment references, favorites and workspace settings. This content is stored locally unless you explicitly export it or use an online feature.
Account information
If you create or use an authenticated account, VEXO Hub may process your email address, display name, account identifier, email-verification state and authentication-provider information. Password authentication is handled by the configured identity provider; VEXO Hub does not store your readable account password.
Guest use
Guest mode creates a local device workspace without requiring an online account. Guest data is associated with the local application installation and may be lost if the application is removed or its data is cleared without a valid exported backup.
Technical information
Online providers may receive information needed to operate authentication, such as device and network details, in accordance with their own policies. The static VEXO Hub website may receive standard web-server logs from the hosting provider, such as IP address, requested page, browser type and request time.
3. How information is used
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to:
- create and maintain your local workspace;
- save, organize, search and display your records;
- schedule reminders you configure;
- authenticate an account and maintain a remembered session when selected;
- create, validate and restore backups at your direction;
- respond to support, privacy or security requests;
- protect the application, website and users from misuse.
VEXO Hub does not sell your personal information. The current website does not display behavioral advertising.
4. Local storage, attachments and backups
The application database, managed attachments and temporary files are stored in app-private storage. Android prevents ordinary access by other applications, subject to the security of your device and operating system.
When you create a backup, VEXO Hub produces a backup file and a separate SHA-256 checksum file. When you choose Export, Android’s sharing interface allows you to select a destination. Files leave app-private storage only through an action you initiate.
Anyone who obtains an exported backup may be able to access its contents. Store backup and checksum files in a trusted location, restrict access and delete copies you no longer need.
5. Service providers
VEXO Hub may use Google Firebase Authentication and Google identity services to provide email or Google account authentication. These providers process information under their applicable privacy terms. Android and your selected destination provider process attachment selections, camera results, shared backup files and notifications as necessary to complete actions you request.
VEXO Hub does not currently represent local backup as automatic cloud synchronization. Any future cloud service will be described in an updated policy before launch.
6. Device permissions
Depending on your Android version and the action you choose, VEXO Hub may request:
- Notifications: to deliver reminders you schedule;
- Camera or media selection: to attach a photo you choose;
- Document access: to import a backup and matching checksum or select an attachment.
You can deny or revoke permissions through Android settings. Some related features may not work without the relevant permission.
7. Retention and deletion
Local workspace information remains on your device until you delete records, delete the relevant profile, clear application data or uninstall VEXO Hub. Exported backups remain wherever you stored them until you delete them.
If you request account deletion through the application, VEXO Hub attempts to delete the authenticated account from the configured identity provider and removes the associated local profile and workspace. A provider may require recent reauthentication before accepting deletion.
Messages sent to VEXO Hub support are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information, or to receive a portable copy. You may also have a right to complain to a data-protection authority.
Most workspace information can be managed directly in the application. For account or website-related privacy requests, email privacy@vexohub.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Security
VEXO Hub uses app-private storage, workspace ownership boundaries, checksum validation for imported backups and platform authentication services. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection. Keep Android updated, use a device lock, obtain VEXO Hub only from an official channel and protect exported files.
10. Children
VEXO Hub is a general personal organization tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect online account information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as VEXO Hub evolves. The effective date at the top will change when a revised policy is published. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate product or website notice.
